Job Description
As a Contact Center Agent at American Express, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. This role requires a high level of empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently. Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of customer service experience
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
High-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace
Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and respond to customer emails
Provide accurate and timely information to customers
Resolve customer issues and escalate cases when necessary
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions
Document all customer interactions in the appropriate systems
Stay updated on company policies and procedures
