Client Job Description
The client is embarking on an effort to develop a best-in-class website that will provide a unified, consistent, and optimized user experience for our general population targets, healthcare professionals, patients, potential employees, investors, and other stakeholders. This will allow access to services, tools, news, and information curated specifically based on audience (operating company, location, sector, function, region, tenure, etc.)
The site currently has a fragmented and dense website structure that consists of global, enterprise, sector, regional, local, & product sites. To modernize the site, we will create a better user experience and drive operational efficiency by revamping the site architecture and need a leader with digital product experience and user knowledge to execute the strategy.
This role will lead the development of the strategy for the website integrations in alignment with the broader product vision. The Integration Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the integration plans including developing business requirements from user research and key internal stakeholders. This role is helping to drive the integration workstream as part of several other workstreams driving the overall digital ecosystem approach.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sectors, site owners, and technology to complete due diligence on current website structure, performance, and user needs across each web property
Perform content audits, archiving, content type mapping, and identify any new capabilities to be developed into our content management system
Determine how the current state site will map to the future state information architecture and common website experience elements
Creation of roadmaps and measurement scorecards with a user-first mindset
Based on research recommend a website scope and architecture that is clear with well-defined swim lanes and reason to exist for each site (eg. 1 global site that houses 6 cluster sites with 10 different local/market views)
Confirm all compliance-required content (legal/reg/privacy) by market and ensure recommendation can accommodate
Develop a detailed project plan to support the effort
Participate in sessions with site owners and local markets to communicate approach and gain alignment
Create necessary communications to update internal teams and leaders on the approach
Qualifications:
Digital product management/ownership (preferably a global digital product)
Includes global stakeholder management and product strategy
Agile training and/or product owner certification a plus
Content management system experience a plus
Business acumen
Analytical abilities (turning data into insights, user journeys/needs + UX/UI data/info)
Project management (manage deadlines, downstream impacts and keep stakeholders accountable)
Communication (translates technical or complex concepts clearly/concisely)
Comfort with Excel (MS suite) and other backlog tools
10-15 years of relevant digital/web experience
