We are seeking a Help Desk Representative to provide IT support for small business clients during late-night hours. This is a part-time, contract position, with an opportunity for long-term hire. The role is primarily remote, but candidates must be local to the Franklin, TN area for occasional in-office training and collaboration.

Position Overview: As a Help Desk Representative, you will be responsible for providing basic IT support, including password resets, troubleshooting network issues, and handling Microsoft 365-related tasks. This role requires availability during weekday evenings and occasional weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide remote help desk support, handling incoming support requests
• Assist with password resets and troubleshooting basic networking issues
• Support Microsoft 365 environments (e.g., email, OneDrive, Teams)
• Escalate more complex technical issues as needed
• Track and document customer issues in a ticketing system
• Collaborate with team members during training and problem resolution

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday: 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Occasional Sunday work (approximately 6 hours)

Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a help desk or IT support role
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (email, Teams, OneDrive)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Must be local to Franklin, TN, or nearby for occasional office visits

Additional Information:
• This is a contract position with the potential to convert to a full-time hire.
• Compensation is based on approved hours each week and can be structured as W-2 or 1099
