About the role:
Are you ready to take the next step with a career change at TQL? As an Account Representative, your job will be to further develop business on the sales floor. You will focus on maintaining existing accounts while helping close new business alongside full truckload brokers in your aligned location for your specific mode of transportation. You will be your teams subject matter expert on your mode of transportation, handling these shipments accordingly for the brokers and customers that you are working with.

What youll be doing:
Communicate with the sales team and customers to build and maintain relationships
Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickups and deliveries are on time
Work with the sales team to provide and negotiate competitive pricing and rates
Input, update, and manage shipment information in Load Manager
Collaborate with the support team to guarantee each shipment is serviced properly
Assist with billing and accounting responsibilities as needed
Become a subject matter expert for TQLs OMASS department
What you need:
College degree preferred, but we have successful Account Representatives without one
The determination to work harder than those around you
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Strong problem-solving skills, while being forthright about conflict
Ability to work with the latest technologies
An obsession for great customer service
A passion for the complexities of logistics, outside of FTL
