We are seeking an entry- level HR Assistant to provide business support and strategy, including administrative and basic level accounting support to the organizations HR, Finance & Administration department.
Responsibilities include:
Manage complex data and perform data entry including QuickBooks, provider checks and school district invoices
Identify process improvement opportunities to increase business efficiency and profitability
Manage accounts payable including application of payments, contacting clients, and track the status of each account
Maintain accounting and business contract records
Categorize, sort, and manage incoming document, client information files, and internal records
Reconcile financial documents such as bank statements & credit card statements
Prepare and compile business reports and summaries on activity areas
Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
Must currently live in Eastern Nassau or Suffolk County
1-2 years experience in an HR role /business/office/administrative support role
Proficient with QuickBooks
Experience creating reports and managing large amounts of data/information
Experience with payroll and accounts receivable/accounts payable
Experience with process improvement and project management
