In this role, youll support a research department by developing difficult, domain-specific questions that probe and illuminate the limitations of modern AI models.

Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate Degree, faculty, or professional expert in Geophysics, Meteorology, Oceanography, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or other relevant discipline
An academic or professional focus in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics
Recent experience in the field as a
Professor/Lecturer/Instructor/Faculty Member
Graduate Assistant
Undergraduate or graduate level teaching assistant
Researcher
Editorial board member
Consultant, adviser, or professional in the field
Strong English grammar, writing, editing, and… proofreading skills
The ability to write clear, thorough yet succinct summaries
Attention to detail in reviewing and editing written materials
Ability to work asynchronously on tasks and occasionally meet live to discuss the tasks
A reliable computer and internet connection
A signed NDA and completed background check are required
Previous experience in Test Item Writing, Exam Development, Exam Scoring, or AI is a huge plus
Commitment: This is a 4-12 week independent contractor position staffed via HireArt. This role will be remote and is ideal for candidates located in U.S. time zones and able to work between 8 and 40 hours per week. Workers will be able to set their own schedule.
