Job Description:GlobeTrek Consulting is currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused Booking Associate – Entry Level (Virtual) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing travel bookings, assisting clients with reservations, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the booking process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
Handle incoming inquiries from clients via email, phone, or online chat, providing prompt and professional assistance with booking travel arrangements
Utilize booking platforms and travel management systems to research and secure flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services according to clients’ preferences and budgetary requirements
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, confirm booking details, and address any questions or concerns they may have
Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel vendors to confirm reservations, negotiate rates, and arrange special accommodations as needed
Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client interactions in our database systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible
Provide clients with relevant travel information, including destination guides, visa requirements, and travel insurance options, to enhance their travel experience
Assist clients with any changes, cancellations, or adjustments to their travel plans, handling requests promptly and efficiently
Collaborate with team members to optimize booking processes, streamline operations, and enhance overall customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service, travel booking, or related roles preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in using booking platforms, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications
A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently
A passion for travel and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with team members across different locations
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
