Position Summary:
Bainbridge is immediately hiring outgoing and client-focused Business Development Representatives and Account Executives to join our fintech and corporate development teams. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through proactive client engagement and industry expertise, not finance or quantitative skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, solid business acumen and deep understanding of business strategy and the fundamentals of markets. Successful team members are achieving results in their knowledge of client engagement, markets, the private equity transaction process and portfolio strategy.
Responsibilities:
Produce a high volume of B2B outbound sales calls prospecting to specific owners of companies pre-selected by team managers and market studies
Qualify businesses and business owners to identify their divestiture posture, ownership structure, revenue, EBITDA, actionability, and growth strategy
Represent our clients investment interests to business owners across various industries
Conduct research, analysis and recommendations to ensure timely client deliverables and formation of investment thesis
Build and maintain relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery
Collaborate with the Bainbridge deal team to develop a pipeline of companies that meets their clients investment criteria
Collaborate and communicate effectively across all company departments
Produce timely and accurate KPIs and reports to track pipeline activity and client interactions
Conduct market research and stay current on industry trends and emerging opportunities
Minimal travel may be required for conference attendance or company events
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field. MBA highly desirable
2+ years minimum experience working in b2b sales
Experience in private equity, investment banking, wealth management or similar professional services environment is a plus, but not required
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated business acumen and advanced analytical sales-based thinking
Ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Series 7 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe) required
Understanding of corporate financial analysis and financial statements
Adept at managing multiple projects and completing deliverables on schedule
Discipline to manage workload while working remotely
Ability to work independently and interdependently within a team environment
Exhibit a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with clients and team members
A high level of professionalism, accountability and initiative
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
