Nurdsoft seeks a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with new clients and partners, and drive revenue growth. The person will be pivotal in expanding our market presence and achieving our business objectives.
BDRs play a critical role in the sales cycle… and are often the first contact that a prospective customer has with Nurdsoft. Whether interacting on the phone, at an event, through email, or some other medium, BDRs make a positive first impression of Nurdsoft by being responsible for the first portion of a prospects sales journey. Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and relationship-building
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential areas for growth, new markets, and emerging trends
Develop and implement strategic plans to generatenew leadsand achieve revenue targets
Identify client needs and provide guidance and information about our products and services to increase customer satisfaction
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and stakeholders
Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert prospects into clients
Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements with clients and partners
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align strategies and drive results
Create compelling proposals, presentations, and sales materials highlighting the company’s value proposition
Forecast sales targets, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports to management on business development activities and outcomes
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge
Gather client feedback and provide insights to improve products and services
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility
Manage and optimize the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads
Consistently meet or exceed metrics set by Business leaders
Requirements:
5+ years of BDR/SDR experience within the technology sector
2+ years of proven track record in selling software development services and closing sales
5+ years of proven track record in business development and closing sales
Ability to understand technical concepts, possess enthusiasm for technology, and articulate clearly to all levels of technical aptitude
Experience building a pipeline by qualifying leads and developing opportunities
Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Result-oriented with a drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to deliver engaging presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Willingness to travel as needed
