What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Address member and provider inquiries received through the employer’s customer service lines
Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding and resolving member/provider needs
Document call details accurately for tracking member/provider contacts
Identify and communicate trends related to service issues within the organization
Escalate member/provider concerns and service issues as necessary
What Is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or advanced education is desirable
Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in a customer-facing inbound call center setting
Strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
Excellent typing skills and data entry capabilities
Commitment to understanding and executing corporate and departmental policies
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in the healthcare industry or with health insurance products
Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare services
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations
Experience in a role that required clear and concise documentation
