Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the emerging market of telemedicine in a role that is completely remote. Our team of Clinical Liaisons are responsible for interaction with referring physicians, Board Certified radiologists, and our technical support teams.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both interdepartmentally and with our extensive list of clients. At Vets Choice, we have raised the standard of teleradiology with our excellent customer service. New team members will uphold these standards.
Our Clinical Liaisons are responsible for monitoring case… submissions for quality, assisting clinics with report concerns, and communicating with our radiology team. Additionally, they will work alongside our tech support team to ensure efficient work flow. Most importantly, the Clinical Liaison will cultivate strong relationships with our referring clinicians.
Responsibilities and Duties
Teleradiology case management and client relations
Foster and maintain communication between radiologists and referring clinics
Correspond with radiologists about medical reports
Troubleshoot platform and image issues regarding case submission, file transfer, and image quality
Understanding triage for critical case submission
Assistance with coordinating radiologist schedule and coverage
Audit turnaround times and caseload of reporting radiologists
Ability to problem solve in a self-directed setting
Qualifications
Certified Veterinary Technician certification (LVT, RVT, RTR) with minimum 5-7 years of clinical experience
Experience with proper radiographic techniques is a must. Preference given to candidates with exposure to advanced imaging modalities (Ultrasound, CT, MRI)
Extensive knowledge of anatomy, diagnostic imaging and veterinary medical terminology
Skills
Knowledge and ability to resolve common technical issues encountered by clients and radiology team
Technical knowledge/computer savvy
Excellent communication skills written and verbal
