Title: Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Director of Practice Operations
Overall Responsibility: Providing superb customer service and a welcoming environment to all patients seeking services
Areas of responsibility (Tasks):
Prepares patients for their appointment by obtaining photo identification, signature of various consent forms, & associated Healthworks/Company paperwork required for visit.
Responsible for ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
Maintain & coordinate patient schedule for various providers & clinical staff.
Field incoming phone calls & emails through shared authorization email inbox.
Assists and prepares employer paperwork for the clinical staff
Assists with covering at other locations as necessary
Assists with tasks as directed by management
Skills required:
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally
Demonstrates personal responsibility, integrity and ability to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in a manner consistent with HIPAA
Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Ability to work both independently & as part of a team in following company protocols
Demonstrates basic computer skills with Windows, Microsoft office programs, HealthWorks HER and other software as needed
Experience/Education required:
Completes employer required trainings in a timely manner
