Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Special Education or a related field.
Special Education teachers may specialize in areas such as K-12th grade, mild-moderate levels, or severe autism. Endorsements in these areas may be required.
Experience with student evaluations, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Active Special Education State Teaching License is required.
For virtual positions, a state license, 2 years of school experience, and an education certificate may be required.
Teaching credential with any of the six Special Education endorsements.

Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available

Responsibilities
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students needs.
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, adapting methods to meet individual learning goals.
Assess student progress, adjust curriculum materials, and apply behavior management techniques to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
