Role and Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities: Seeking Senior Education Sales Leader that is Customer Focused, Organizationally Savvy and a Strategic Thinking professional to serve as our Director of Education Sales, Display Solutions. Lead a sales team and grow revenue of our B2B display portfolio in Education including K12 and Higher Education markets. Manage West Region sales team and all education customers west of the Mississippi. Responsible for owning West Region Education sales, sales team and supporting sales strategy so as to maintain long term, trusted customer and partner relationships. Successfully execute plans to grow sales revenues and expand our strategic product footprint. Lead a team of Education end user sales representatives covering K12 and Higher Education accounts as well as focused education-focused channel partners. Establish annual sales targets and respective division go-to-market strategies to ensure quarterly revenue targets are exceeded and foundation is being laid for long-term three- to five-year growth strategies. Integral to this role is the ability to collaborate with distribution, channel partners, internal account managers, supply chain, operations and marketing departments. Maintain relationships with Key Partners to help drive new business opportunities as well as participate in partner events to help foster strong partner relationships. Skills and Qualifications Necessary Skills / Attributes: Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of directly related Education vertical sales management experience is required. Proven ability to successfully lead sales teams, developing long term growth strategies and exceed annual assigned sales targets in education vertical. Prior experience leading a sales team with solid working knowledge of the following product categories: Interactive Flat Panel Displays, Large Format Displays, LCD Desktop Displays and LED Signage ? Strongly Preferred. Understanding of solution selling ? specifically around Interactive Flat Panel Display and education software solutions. Strong track record of building collaborative Display sales and channel relationships at executive levels. Strong understanding of education pedagogy and technology requirements with demonstrated success of education engagement. Ability to build relationships with key K12 District and Higher Education customers. Excellent public speaking and written communication skills. Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills. Must be able to work independently as well as with existing sales team. Creative individual with high energy and a can-do attitude. Must possess a strong knowledge of education vertical products and market intelligence. Experience using with CRM software (SalesForce.com preferred).
