Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic eCommerce Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving online sales and enhancing customer engagement through our digital platforms. This role will require a deep understanding of eCommerce operations, online marketing strategies, and excellent customer service skills to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize online product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and inventory levels across all eCommerce platforms.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, improve product offerings, and maximize revenue opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies for promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Track and report on key performance metrics such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
Collaborate with the marketing team to run… advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to drive traffic and increase sales.
Keep up to date with eCommerce trends, emerging platforms, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Personally pursue and close key sales opportunities, managing the sales process
Work with the internal sales team to pursue key prospects
Develop and implement effective e-commerce growth strategies to identify and capture new customer base and business opportunities.
Optimize end-to-end ecommerce journey for our customers, from lead generation to conversion and post-purchase follow-up.
Manage and maintain e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing and inventory management.
Strategy Development
Create and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy in collaboration with the sales department to drive sales growth across all online categories.
Ensure ecommerce strategies contribute to overall sales goals while achieving individual ecommerce targets.
Platform Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce platforms, including:
Major online marketplaces
Retailer-specific ecommerce portals
Grocery delivery and pickup services
Health and specialty food retailers
Niche and discount platforms
Direct-to-consumer platforms
Wholesale and bulk platforms
On-demand delivery services
Sales Growth
Create and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to drive sales growth across all online categories.
Ensure ecommerce strategies contribute to overall sales goals while achieving individual ecommerce targets.
Budget Management
Develop and manage the ecommerce budget for cost-effective operations and maximum ROI.
Technology Management
Integrate ecommerce technologies and tools to enhance online sales and improve the customer experience.
Ensure ecommerce platforms are up-to-date with necessary features to support growth and user engagement
Requirements:
Proven experience in an eCommerce sales or customer service role.
Strong knowledge of online retail platforms (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, etc.).
Familiarity with digital marketing practices, including SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive business decisions.
Proficient in MS Office, Google Analytics, and eCommerce management tools.
Experience in CPG
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with social media management and content creation.
Basic understanding of website management and optimization.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet sales goals and deadlines.
3-5 years previous experience selling into online accounts
Working knowledge of the online sales process
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
