We are seeking a qualified ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher to join our educational team in Waltham, Massachusetts. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds while supporting their English language development.
Position Overview
As a remote ESL teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging online lessons that meet the needs of English language learners in grades K-12. You will collaborate with classroom teachers to support students’ language development and academic success across content areas.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver remote ESL instruction aligned with state standards and district curriculum
Assess and monitor student progress in English language acquisition
Create individualized learning plans for students based on their proficiency levels
Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and achievement
Collaborate virtually with classroom teachers and other specialists
municate regularly with students’ families about progress and goals
Participate in online professional development and team meetings
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related field
Valid Massachusetts teaching license with ESL/ELL endorsement
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching ESL in a school setting
Demonstrated proficiency in online teaching platforms and technology
Strong interpersonal and munication skills
Experience working with diverse student populations
Schedule
Full-time, Monday-Friday during regular school hours
