FedEx is currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the team as Freight Delivery Specialist. In this position, employees will be responsible for the timely and friendly delivery and collection of packages and FedEx Office customer orders. The role also involves inspecting shipments for compliance with FedEx service guidelines and providing relevant customer service support. Candidates will need to drive company vehicles and ensure that the vehicles are regularly serviced and cleaned.
Responsibilities
Deliver and retrieve packages and customer orders from FedEx Office with courtesy and speed
Confirm that shipments align with the specified features of FedEx services
Provide exceptional assistance to enhance the overall customer experience
Drive a company-owned vehicle responsibly and securely
Maintain a neat and orderly vehicle interior
Adjust routes as necessary based on route information received from a centralized dispatcher
Comply with all traffic guidelines and regulations
Qualifications
Having a clean driving record along with a legitimate driver’s license
Skill in the transportation and handling of packages up to 50 pounds in weight
Proficient in providing top-notch service to clients
Thorough scrutiny of details
Competence in managing responsibilities in a high-speed atmosphere
Reliability and punctuality are key attributes to uphold
Experience in a similar capacity is an asset
