About the position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Master’s Level Group Facilitator to join our team in a part-time, contracted role. The position involves leading therapeutic sessions for individuals dealing with mental health and addiction issues, primarily during evenings and every other Saturday. The facilitator will create a supportive environment, utilize various therapeutic techniques, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
Conduct group therapy sessions for individuals with mental health or addiction issues

Create a safe and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences
,
Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including art therapy, to facilitate healing and personal growth
,
Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
,
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
,
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
,
Provide education and resources to participants to enhance their understanding of their conditions and promote self-care
Requirements
Proven experience in hospital or direct support settings
,
Expertise in chronic pain counseling and addiction counseling
,
Strong assessment skills to evaluate patients’ needs and progress
,
Knowledge of medical records management, including ICD-9 coding
,
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
,
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds and ages
