Head of SEO
It’s a great time to join us here at DHM. Were an established yet growing digital agency and were soon to go through a complete rebrand transformation alongside moving our SEO arm of the business in-house.
And were looking for someone to lead it.
You will have the opportunity to lead, advise and guide us through our SEO strategy for all hotel clients. Working alongside like-minded and skilled colleagues who are passionate about the hospitality industry, our hospitality clients and their SEO.
Reporting directly to our Head of Operations, our Head of SEO will become an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team in an informal, dynamic and supportive environment.
The Role
This role sits within our core team with exposure to all aspects of our client campaigns.
You will lead all SEO strategies for a variety of our hospitality clients, contributing to the client’s digital transformation. You will innovate our agency work with best-in-class SEO solutions, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
You will collaborate with and guide the team to report back to clients, analyse results, provide recommendations and leverage advanced technologies to stay ahead in the competitive landscape.
Your Profile:
Be highly strategic, with a strong knowledge of all aspects of SEO – technical, content, keyword research, on-page optimisation, link-building – and ensure your skills remain to the fore of new SEO processes and technologies
Be highly data driven, with the ability to monitor, analyse, and report on our clients websites, utilising your findings to provide recommendations and implement SEO fixes
Proficient in WordPress
Demonstrable Account Director level experience in SEO, with excellent presentation and client relationship-building skills
Proactive and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of our team.
Strong business acumen and a proven track record of identifying and growing new business opportunities.
Self-starter who loves taking ownership of processes and projects
Fluent written and oral English skills
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct in-depth keyword research for each of our clients
Oversee day-to-day SEO activities, including tracking, monitoring, and reporting using industry-standard tools
Identifying the key actions for the month for each client and populating our SEO Actions sheet including delegating out to our SEO executive
Executing all key actions for each client with your SEO executive
Reviewing monthly reports and highlighting talking points and advising AMs on insights
Overseeing the performance of SEO campaigns, incorporating key insights for future activities
Stay updated on industry trends, providing insights to the team
Maintain strong client relationships, collaborating with AM teams and aligning with overall client strategies
Attend monthly and quarterly client review meetings where you will lead and input with insights from past weeks/months and recommendations for the forthcoming months.
Support the CEO in sales meetings and business development
Location & Travel
Weve successfully adopted a hybrid approach of working, whereby 4 days a week we are all working from home, and 1 day a week we get together and work from our London office when possible.
