What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage inbound and outbound calls for patients, providers, and healthcare insurance companies
Navigate through various EMR systems such as Cerner, Epic, AthenaNet/AthenaHealth, NextGen
Verify healthcare insurance coverage and eligibility
Provide exceptional administrative support including data entry, appointment scheduling, and email management
Establish professional relationships with medical professionals and patients
What Is Required (Qualifications)
At least 1-2 years of experience in a medical-related background or account
Intermediate skills with Gsuite and/or Microsoft Office
Familiarity with Medical Terminologies
Professional license in nursing, health, or behavioral sciences (highly preferred)
HIPAA Certification is a plus
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Healthcare-related degree
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
Computer competences
Experience working with US medical insurance companies
