Leadership position managing 15 field staff who provide care management services under the Virginia Medicaid contract.
If you reside within a commutable distance of Alexandria and Fairfax, Virginia markets, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversite and compliance of authorizations, daily contractually required activities to ensure compliance
Monitoring, coaching, and developing team members to their highest ability
Supporting staff to remove barriers and needs of members
Respond to DMAS requests with timely and accurate information
Supporting other managers and coverage when needed
Performing ride along visits with team members yearly
Presenting and leading some staff meetings
Engaging and active participant in project for quality and process improvements
Ability to communicate professionally to support internal and external communications
Ability to lead team in managing complex medical needs of members within home services
Ability to perform in home assessment when coverage is minimally needed

Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree within a medical field
Licensed RN in state of Virginia
2+ years of experience working with HCBS waiver population under Virginia Medicaid
Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams
