Innovation Communications Intern Summer 2024 World Vision Internships provide a three-month opportunity for exceptional students and recent graduates ready to explore a career in the international relief and development sector. BEFORE APPLYING, make sure you meet the following requirements: Able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week for the entire internship period: 20 May ? 16 August 2023 Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident/F1-student visa). Must have a valid U.S Social Security Number. Current or recent graduate from an undergraduate programme (within 2 years). Adhere to World Vision International?s Christian Statement of Faith. Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices. DETAILS Stipend: All US-based interns are paid a monthly stipend of $800 Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (24-40 hours/week) Internship Location: Remote within the US (see eligible states above). Can you craft messages that connect emotionally, tell a story, and yet can speak to impact and statistics? Can you create visually interesting reports and graphics or develop short compelling videos? Are you someone who can navigate different channels and demonstrate knowledge of how best to communicate on them? World Vision?s Innovation Team is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation that is locally driven and transformative by empowering children and communities to co-create sustainable solutions to the problems they face. The team is working to embed field-driven innovation into World Vision?s core programming implementation, and also seeking to grow funding opportunities to increase resources available for innovation. As an intern, you will join our team, and the larger strategy team, to bring creative and fresh ideas to our current work. You will contribute to the development of a strong innovation communications foundation by sharing ideas for creative content and developing materials to communicate about the progress of innovation projects. The intern?s responsibilities will include: Copywriting and content editing to develop creative content, documentation, and press releases about innovation projects in World Vision. Design and development of graphics, visually compelling reports, and short videos to be featured on various channels. Research on relevant topics to collect key reports and materials, and organize and share them on staff platforms for capacity building.
