Job Description:
SKVP is seeking a motivated and talented part-time Intern Space to support our founders and contribute to projects in remote sensing, space imaging, and space domain awareness. This remote position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in cutting-edge space technologies and work with leading organizations such as NASA, ESA, and universities. Please note that this is an unpaid internship opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in projects related to… remote sensing, space imaging, and space domain awareness.
Conduct research on latest developments in space situational awareness and related technologies.
Analyze data from various space-based sensors and imaging systems.
Support partnerships with NASA, ESA, and universities on relevant projects.
Prepare technical reports and presentations on project findings.
Conduct industry analysis focusing on remote sensing and space imaging sectors.
Provide technical assistance to founders working on space technology projects.
Evaluate emerging technologies in the space domain for potential investment opportunities.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Remote Sensing, or related field
Strong understanding of remote sensing principles and space imaging technologies
Knowledge of space domain awareness concepts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Interest in the space industry and emerging space technologies
Additional Requirements:
Familiarity with space systems and satellite operations
Understanding of orbital mechanics and space environment
Ability to interpret and analyze satellite imagery
Knowledge of relevant space agencies (NASA, ESA) and their projects
Proactive and self-motivated approach to work
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Hours: 20-25 hours per week, flexible schedule
