About the role
The International Relations Office (IRO) at Imperial is looking to appoint a motivated individual to the position of International Relations Office Assistant, to help support the efficient operation of the office and the delivery of high-profile events and programmes.
What you would be doing
This is an exciting opportunity to join the International Relations Office (IRO) a busy, highly visible central unit responsible for supporting the development and delivery of Imperials international engagement with academic partners and overseas governments.
This is an important administrative support position where you will use your excellent communication skills to support the IRO team and liaise with staff and students across Imperial. You should be enthusiastic, willing to learn, detail-orientated, have strong communication skills and demonstrate an interest in international affairs.
As a member of a 14-16 person team, you should be willing to welcome change and be… prepared to work flexibly across different team activities, expected to undertake a wide range of administrative tasks. This position offers unique international relations administration experience in the busy central office of one of the UKs most international universities.

Experience working in a customer services role
The initiative and enthusiasm to take part in aspects of assisting with the operation of a busy office
Ability to maintain a professional standard of work whilst contribution to a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
Ability to take a proactive approve to work and to meet deadlines
Confidence to work with a range of colleagues, of varying seniority, both within and external to Imperial
