What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Install, tune, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain all relevant computer systems and applications
Develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems and conduct impact assessments
Automate installation and configuration of applications in various environments
Evaluate new systems through in-depth testing and research to support recommendations
Introduce relevant best practices and contribute to the enhancement of the IT operational service readiness framework
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software, hardware, and/or systems engineering
ITIL Foundations v3 certification within 180 days preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with programming languages and web-based technologies
Knowledge of project management methodologies and change management best practices
Previous involvement in IT operational service readiness initiatives
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to solve technical problems
Participation in professional societies or continuous education workshops
