IT Support Engineer – FULLY REMOTE

Position Summary
100% REMOTE ROLE. MUST have experience working at an MSP. This position will provide both IT support and consultation for companies in a wide range of different industries while also handling escalation from our Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers. This role requires you proactively engage in every opportunity needed to ensure prompt and efficient service and support for our… clients.

Typical Duties:
• Responsible for diagnosing and resolving highly technical issues that Tier 1 and Tier 2 couldn’t resolve. This may include investigating network issues, server issues or application issues.
• Helps establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by excelling in job duties.
• Responds to support requests and provide solutions.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and configurations for future reference. May also conduct training sessions for Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers to improve overall technical competency within the organization

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft Certification – MTA required, MCSE preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in IT support.
• Must possess excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must possess excellent multitasking and communication skills.
• Excellent written, grammar and documentation skills.
• Strong knowledge and experience with computer and network (switches, routers, access points, etc.) hardware.
• Strong knowledge and experience with LAN/WAN architecture and best practices within peer to peer or client/server domain Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge and experience with TCP/IP protocol, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory and VPN.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, storage, firewalls, backup and disaster recovery
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Operating Systems including Windows 10 and 11, Server 2016, 2019, 2022.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Communicates effectively both in writing and orally.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills when communicating with clients in person.
• Works well in team environment and under high pressure.
• Must be able to work with and without supervision and be a self starter!
• MSP experience only please.
• 100% remote, you can work anywhere in the state of CA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour.
