Key Duties & Responsibilities
Tailored Instruction: Deliver individualized lessons aligned with each student’s IEP to foster their academic success and personal growth.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track student development to ensure they meet learning milestones.
IEP Development: Collaborate with parents, educators, and support staff to create and adjust IEPs for students, ensuring that their learning objectives are met.
Parental Communication: Maintain strong relationships with families by providing regular updates on student progress and strategies for support at home.
What Were Looking For
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
Valid Michigan teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with special needs, preferably in an online environment
