Skills
Required to have and maintain a Property & Casualty Insurance license in your home state
2+ years of experience in an insurance sales-based role preferred
Strong communication skills with a customer-centric focus
Ability to actively listen and understand customer needs
Familiarity with the insurance industry, particularly pet insurance, is a plus
Proven track record of quality and productivity
Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Answer inbound warm leads from potential customers
Utilize a consultative style to tailor insurance solutions
Present the value of our pet insurance policies
Maintain call control and guide conversations towards enrollment
Provide detailed information about policies and coverage options
Overcome objections confidently and empathetically
Accurately enroll pets in policies and document necessary information
Meet and exceed enrollment targets
Develop knowledge of Chewys pet health insurance plans
Handle various customer service contacts (phone, email, chat)
Qualifications
2+ years of customer service experience
Strong ability to handle objections and turn them into opportunities
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
Flexibility to shift schedule and work overtime as needed
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant certifications in insurance preferred
