Description:
Leads team in developing project workplans and scheduling associated project deliverables
Acts as a mentor, guiding team members on their career paths
Builds strong relationships with clients through quality work
Prepares tax interest computations and explains computations to clients
Assists with client billing and financial forecasting
Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
Maintains a professional and positive attitude at all times
Manages income tax projects, especially in the complex interest area
Works effectively in a complex, deadline-driven environment
Handles tasks in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy
Safeguards confidential information and sensitive material
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Accounting undergraduate and/or Masters in Tax
7+ years of experience in the area of interest
5+ years of experience working directly on IRS interest computations
Experience with tax computation is preferred
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
Experience with DMI software is preferred
Valid drivers license required
