Position: Digital School Psychologist
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time (Contract)
Start Date: Fall Semester 2023
Caseload: K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses
Responsibilities:
As a Digital School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of K-12 students. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address students’ unique challenges.
Providing virtual counseling and intervention services to support students’ mental health and behavioral development.
Offering virtual consultations to teachers and school staff to address concerns related to students’ academic progress and behavior.
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make appropriate recommendations.
Requirements:
To qualify for the Digital School Psychologist position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
State licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
Proven experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members, parents, and school staff.
Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology to deliver virtual services.
