What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Respond to a wide range of provider inquiries via telephone
Educate providers on coverage, claim submission, and available self-service offerings
Identify customer issues, research, and initiate appropriate actions
Communicate confidently and clearly with customers regarding their concerns
Navigate multiple computer applications effectively
What Is Required (Qualifications)
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience with health insurance and/or Medicare/DME claims
At least 1 year of customer service experience with direct telephone contact
Ability to learn and apply Medicare guidelines and insurance terminology
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address customer issues
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
1 year of previous customer service experience at the employer
Experience as a contracted Medicare CSR II at the employer
1 or more years of recent Medicare or healthcare insurance experience
2 or more years of call center experience
Coursework in coding, medical terminology, or a related field
