We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves teaching various levels of mathematics, developing lesson plans, and engaging students through innovative instructional methods. Our Mathematics Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping students’ understanding and appreciation of mathematics.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Teach mathematics concepts across various levels, ensuring comprehension and retention among students.
• Utilize instructional design techniques to create effective teaching materials and resources.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and education administration to enhance the overall learning experience.
• Provide tutoring support for students needing additional assistance outside of regular class hours.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Classroom experience working with students at various educational levels is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with laboratory settings or research methodologies related to mathematics education is a plus.
• Experience in private school settings is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for mathematics education and a commitment to student success.
• Knowledge of library services or resources that can enhance the learning experience is beneficial.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.90 – $22.89 per hour

Schedule:
• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
