Online Technology Director – Strategy, Planning, and Delivery

Description:
• The Director of Strategy, Planning, and Delivery partners closely with business, product, and technology stakeholders.
• Establishes and drives strategic planning processes and deliverables across technology portfolios.
• Develops and delivers communications and presentation materials expressing the value Online provides to our business.
• Leads a Technical Project Management office and teams driving large cross-functional initiatives.
• Actively manages portfolio-level financials and budgeting in concert with Finance and Product.
• Partners with key business stakeholders to identify and implement improvements in our agile delivery processes.
• Recruits and motivates a high-performing Technical Program Managers and supporting staff.
• Collaborates with stakeholders in Technology and across all levels of the enterprise.
• Creates and manages Online Technology’s operating plan from strategy to delivery.
• Guides decision-making related to spending and scaling our teams.
Requirements:
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of Tableau.
• Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).
• Ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial documentation.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in defining, communicating, and driving value propositions, success metrics, and outcomes.
• Proficient in shaping, aligning, and guiding execution of strategic direction for a domain or significant portfolio segment.
• Proficient in communicating, building influence, and developing relationships with functional and technical leaders, with high-level vendor partners, and across all levels in the organization.
• Proficient in selecting and leading strategic vendor relationships in partnership with Procurement, or acting as the primary point of contact for strategic partnerships.
• Proficient in managing and developing direct reports with their own span of control.
• Proficient in utilizing deep market and industry knowledge for a related portfolio segment or domain to achieve strategic objectives.
