What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Answer and make phone calls to patients, insurance companies, and hospital departments
Update and document financial data to ensure accurate reimbursement
Participate in accounts receivable clean-up projects and other assigned tasks
Provide training to new or existing staff as directed by leadership

What Is Required (Qualifications)
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
1-2 years previous customer service experience
General accounting and bookkeeping skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with systems or applications such as Epic or SSI
Familiarity with medical billing and medical terminology
Demonstrated leadership qualities and initiative in a team environment
