Job Title: Pharmacy Customer Service Representative…
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr. – $19.50/hr. BOE [$1/hr. Shift Differential for Overnight Shifts]
**Note: Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technicians to be eligible for the $19.50/hr. range
Location: WFH w/Equipment Provided
Start Date: Monday, September 9th 2024
Duration: Temp to Hire!
Schedule(s)
Shift Range: 9AM to 5PM, 12:30PM to 8:30PM, 1PM to 9PM | Monday to Friday
Please Note: Shifts are consistently assigned based on business needs.
Must be open to rotating Saturdays (9AM to 1PM)
Job Duties:
Answer questions and handle problems regarding pharmacy benefit, provider, or claim issues
Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to follow up with members, providers, and pharmacies as necessary
Spend approx. 90% time on the phones and provide empathetic customer service
Seek approval for overrides and prior authorizations as needed and enter them into the claims system
Monitor pharmacy claims processing and complete data entry of member records
Other duties or special projects may be assigned as necessary
Job Requirements:
1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical healthcare industry
A pharmacy technician certification is highly preferred (inactive also applies)
1+ year(s) of PBM or health benefits experience
Experience in working in a high volume call center is highly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
