Apple is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Product Manager to join our team and oversee the development and expansion of our Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform.
In this role, you will chart the strategic direction of the DaaS platform and support execution against that long-term strategy, driving a Data First culture within Apple. You will partner directly with Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, Quality and Support teams, in addition to multiple cross-functional teams across Apple, to define and deliver on a multi-year product roadmap.

We are looking for a world-class Product Manager who has the right mix of technical, communication and business skills to lead and deliver strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and evangelize the vision for a comprehensive product strategy for our DaaS platform, unlocking new insights and capabilities through the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable data points
Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and beyond, including market research, product strategy, road mapping, feature definition, and go-live strategy
Establish and oversee data governance standards and strategies to ensure accurate business outcomes
Conduct extensive market research in the DaaS space, analyzing industry trends to drive our platform decisions
Collaborate closely with our world-wide customers across various Sales and Finance teams to understand their goals and challenges, demonstrating how our DaaS platform can satisfy their needs
Set the product goals for the design and implementation of data orchestration processes that seamlessly integrate and curate data from various internally and externally managed data sources, focusing on data quality, integrity, and accessibility for various consumers
Drive innovation by collaborating with AI/ML teams to implement robust model metadata management, identify and develop relevant data features enhancing the performance of AI/ML models and address issues that may impact model accuracy and reliability
Collaborate with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, align with department standards and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time
Ability to work in an agile team with a hands-on approach

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management of data-related products / platforms
Proven track record of managing product development lifecycles, building complex data products with architects, engineers and data scientists
Hands-on experience in applying data analytics in Sales, Finance, Supply Chain or Demand Management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, setting the vision for, enabling the development of, and launching complex DaaS or data-related products
Experience in leading and influencing various cross-functional teams and external partnerships to drive decisions and outcomes
Strong understanding of market trends, technologies, best practices and customer behavior in the DaaS industry , with deep knowledge in data governance, data security and privacy best practices
Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem solving skills, and the ability to assimilate and learn complex processes in a changing and dynamic work environment on a steep learning curve
Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization, with the ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience, including Senior Executives and Technology Leaders
Work experience in sales, finance or business development teams with exposure to sales finance, pricing or supply chain processes and strategies, including demand generation, pricing, sales scenario planning and sales forecasting
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud & AI/ML frameworks

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apples Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
