The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with healthcare network to add a Medical Customer Service Representative to their team. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a call center with a healthcare background.
Hours following training: Monday – Friday 8am -6pm EST (Must be available for any 8 hour shift within that time frame)
If you’re not in EST time, please translate to your own time zone (7am – 5pm CST, 6am – 4pm MST)
Responsibilities for the position include the following:
Provides exceptional phone support: Handles calls from hospitals about billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
Assists patients effectively: Clarifies patient questions and ensures they receive the information they need.
Problem-solving champion: Works through issues by pinpointing the root cause, researching solutions, implementing the best option, and escalating unresolved matters when necessary.
Data entry specialist: Maintains accurate patient records by inputting information into the hospital’s computer system.
Connects callers seamlessly: Routes incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company.
Epic Software experience highly preferred
Bi-lingual a plus
Must have worked in a call center and experience in Medical Claims and/or Insurance
Ability to undergo a criminal background check, Prove ownership of a High School Diploma, GED or Transcripts and complete a drug screen testing (testing for THC as well).
Have High Speed Internet with a minimal of 50 Mbps Download/20 Mbps Upload Speed – Must be able to hard wire via Ethernet cable.
Ability to work from home in a quiet setting with no others within earshot, due to HIPAA compliance, including a workspace to accommodate two monitors and a computer.
