A remote opportunity is available for Pharmacy Technicians with a focus on Indiana Medicaid Rx. This position offers a competitive starting rate of $16.00 per hour, along with full benefits, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) starting from day one. ### Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service to Indiana Medicaid members and healthcare providers regarding pharmacy coverage and claims processing.
• Handle inbound calls related to pharmacy location inquiries, coverage questions, and medication pricing.
• Review and process requests for prescription prior authorization and appeals.
• Scan, index, and prepare documents for prior authorization and appeals, ensuring accurate patient/member profile information.
• Collect and compile medical documentation from patients and providers to support authorization requests.
• Evaluate requests using established decision trees and protocols, reaching out for additional information when necessary.
• Update claims systems with approved requests and promptly notify patients and providers.
• Communicate any denials clearly and work to forward requests for further review when required.

### Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of pharmacy experience in settings such as retail, long-term care, or hospitals.
• A valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license.
• National CPhT certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
• Proficient with computers, data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to pass E-Verify, a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screening.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to achieve department goals.

### Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Medicaid or government healthcare programs.
• Previous remote working experience.
• Call center experience.
• Inbound/outbound call experience in a pharmacy setting.
