We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Group Home Staff.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
Create a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents in the group home.
Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a sense of community.
Accompany residents on outings, medical appointments, and community activities.
Follow individual care plans, ensuring each resident’s needs are met.
Maintain detailed documentation of resident care, behavior, and any incidents.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for residents.
Encourage residents independence and participation in daily activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful of residents’ privacy and dignity.
Ability to lift or move residents as needed (training provided).
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
