Description
The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and identifying business needs and using appropriate data systems to execute complex projects, casting vision, forecasting, and seeking new solutions. The Sales Operations Manager may also provide additional retail context at the category, retailer, and industry levels to supplement insights and broaden clients understanding of key sales drivers and risks to the business.
For this role we prefer that candidates are based out of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MN, MO, MS, NV, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, or WI.
Targeted Start Date: January 2025.
Responsibilities
Gain a solid understanding of how our client and company strategy aligns with Costcos direction and goals
Provide day-to-day operational support to the Costco sales team (ex. schedule demos, track orders, reconcile discrepancies, etc.)
Utilize Costco CRX data to generate business building insights, strategy, and forecasting plans
Requirements
At least 3-5 years of experience supporting day-to-day business operations of a Costco account
Experience leveraging CRX data to generate business building insights and strategy with sales team
Experience utilizing CRX data for building forecasting plans with sales teams
Experience supporting trade management and promotional activities at Costco
Strong knowledge of the Costco audit process
Radical curiosity of club channel and the constantly changing marketplace
Detail-oriented with an ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Proven ownership mindset
Ability to proactively and creatively problem solve (as an individual and with a team)
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel
Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
