Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role with school districts in the Waynesville, Montana area.
Responsibilities…
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings (inclusion, resource room, self-contained).
Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and parents to support student learning and behavior management.
Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings to determine eligibility and services.
Maintain accurate and compliant special education documentation and progress reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
Valid Montana teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and behavioral needs.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
