We are a forward-thinking tax preparation office seeking a tech-savvy and enthusiastic Seasonal Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team during the busy tax season. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in technology and a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts as they apply to the modern workplace.

Responsibilities:
• Greet clients warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
• Manage appointments and maintain an organized reception area.
• Assist clients with basic technology-related inquiries
• Scan and digitize client documents.
• Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and handling mail.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to data privacy protocols.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable using various technological devices (e.g., computers, scanners, printers).
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in an office setting is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)
• Tax Office: 1 year (Preferred)
