Setpoint is looking for a Security Engineering Lead to join our team!

What Youll Do
Define and develop Setpoints security standards and playbook
Analyze IT security policies, recommend new practices, and oversee program, including SSO, access controls, document storage and retention, etc.
Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies that align with Setpoint’s business objectives
Oversee day-to-day security operations, including access control, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities
Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce risks and enhance the overall security posture
Work closely with other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business
Communicate security policies, procedures, and best practices to all employees and stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies
Evaluate and implement new security technologies and solutions to enhance Setpoint’s security capabilities
You Should Have
7+ years of security engineering and SecOps experience in a fast paced startup or fintech company
Deep understanding of security principles, threat landscape, and security technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with setting up and maintaining security frameworks and standards such as SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.
Deep personal motivation to be at the forefront of technology security
