The Senior Director, Behavioral Health, in collaboration with Senior Leadership, defines a strategic vision for the company’s Therapy and Psychiatry services over 2-3 years. Guiding and inspiring leaders and clinical teams, this role drives execution towards outcomes that enhance members’ health. Additionally, fostering clinical integration and innovation across various service lines, including Behavioral Health, Care Management, Primary Care, and Specialties, is a pivotal responsibility.
As the senior figure in Behavioral Health, this role represents the company in external engagements, articulating and championing our vision of behavioral health and integrated care delivery.
Day to Day:
? Oversee Psychiatry and Therapy practices to ensure safe, high-quality clinical services and patient outcomes.
? Cultivate a clinical environment fostering patient retention and cross-utilization while attracting top talent aligned with company goals.
? Dedicate approximately 8 hours monthly to direct patient care, maintaining professionalism and clinical quality standards.
? Utilize data, stakeholder input, and experience to inform decision-making processes.
? Represent the service line internally and externally, translating day-to-day work into strategic narratives.
? Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize program strategy for clinical outcomes and operational efficiency, advocating for clinical quality and patient safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
? Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience in clinical behavioral health, encompassing medication management and therapy.
? Proven track record of driving programmatic and operational change across clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
? Strong communication skills adaptable to various formats and styles.
? Natural aptitude for building effective relationships, influencing, and collaborating.
? Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, passionate about enhancing clinical care quality and experience in the US healthcare system.
