About the position
The SMB Acquisition Account Executive is a remote-based role focused on generating new business within a defined territory by effectively marketing business solutions to potential clients. This position requires building strong relationships with key decision-makers, achieving sales goals, and utilizing a structured sales process to drive account growth. The role involves collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver comprehensive proposals and maintain accurate customer records.
Responsibilities
Generate new business within a defined territory by marketing business solutions to potential clients.

Achieve activity sales goals including appointments set, appointments ran, and opportunities created.

Utilize the approved sales process to prospect new business accounts and deliver comprehensive proposals.

Conduct customer needs assessments to position innovative business solutions and address objections.

Engage internal and external support partners to enhance business solutions for prospective customers.
,
Leverage the CRM platform to maintain accurate customer records.
,
Build a strong network within the community to promote brand awareness and identify new business prospects.

Partner with the Business Account Support Specialist to manage and grow existing business accounts.
Requirements
High School Diploma or state equivalent.
,
2 or more years’ experience in sales.
,
Metrics-driven sales ‘hunter’ with a professional demeanor and high sense of urgency.
,
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
,
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work efforts in a dynamic environment.

Advanced business and financial acumen.
,
Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel within the territory.
Nice-to-haves
3 to 5 years’ experience in outside direct sales.

Experience hunting new logo accounts in a high-paced, high prospecting environment.

Experience in wireless, software, IT, or related telecommunications industry.
