Team Overview
The Supervisor, Social is dedicated to the FX line of business team with a pod of 8 direct team members and as part of a larger collaborative multi-discipline team. The Supervisor will lead 5 reports in a hybrid in-office work environment. The FX team works on critically acclaimed dramas, hit comedies and original documentaries that drives viewers to tune in and stream. In this role, the Supervisor will assist in overseeing strategy and activation across a variety of the largest social platforms and search engines.
THE ROLE
The Supervisor, Social manages the day-to-day account activities of the group. The Supervisor plays a key role in the translation of marketing and media objectives into overall paid social media strategies and directs development of paid social media plans. The Supervisor oversees regular reporting as well as ensuring campaigns are running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities Include
Strategy
Must have strong knowledge of paid social (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, X) landscape and best practices
Demonstrate full understanding of clients businesses as basis for all future work
Develop strategic recommendations based on media plan and marketing editorial calendar
Maintain comprehensive paid social media strategies that align with brand strategy
Ensure integration and coordination between various communications programs
Direct marketing and media analyses to support recommendations
Seek, investigate and actively pursue innovative communications opportunities
Execution Management
Supervise and monitor implementation of all social media programs.
Compile long-term paid social media strategies and roadmaps
Key contact for clients, ensuring prompt and clear responses to client questions and requests
Oversee long term partnerships with media and social media companies
Reporting
Optimize content calendars and social plans to produce rigorous and clean data
Identify KPIs for ongoing and campaign initiative analyze findings based on benchmark goals and apply learnings for future initiatives
Work closely with team members to maintain timeliness and accuracy of client reporting

YOU

Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of paid social experience
Experience working at an agency and/or Entertainment/Studio background experience or related industry a plus
Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick turnaround business environment
Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking
Clear and articulate communicator with ability to direct and coach team members
Strong presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate clearly when participating in internal and client-facing meetings
Excellent ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
Deep knowledge of ad products and buying mechanisms of all major social platforms
Direct experience with most major platforms (Meta, YouTube, X, TikTok) required. Good a plus.
Direct experience managing teams both internal and on the client side
HTML and CSS knowledge desirable but not necessary
This is a hybrid role based in Burbank, CA.
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. $75,000$90,000 USD
