About the position
As a Ticket/Gate Agent at Delta Air Lines, you will play a vital role in ensuring that cargo is transported safely and on time. This entry-level seasonal position involves greeting customers, assisting with ticketing and baggage check-in, and ensuring a smooth travel experience. You will be responsible for various tasks including managing the check-in and boarding processes, handling baggage, and providing assistance to passengers, including unaccompanied minors and those with disabilities.
Responsibilities
Owning the check-in process and boarding process.

Making gate announcements and ensuring customers have accurate travel documentation.

Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts, with some bags weighing up to 70 pounds.

Operating loading bridges and managing aircraft doors.

Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport.
Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.

Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Basic digital literacy and ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT).

Ability to hold airport specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
