Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to impact students across Connecticut? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative special education teacher to join our virtual team. You’ll provide individualized instruction and support to K-12 students, helping them thrive in an online learning environment while working from home. As a 1099 contractor, you’ll have the freedom to set your own schedule and work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with special needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in collaboration with parents and school staff.
• Use engaging, research-based teaching methods tailored to students’ specific needs.
• Conduct virtual assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students.
• Stay up-to-date on special education regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Active Connecticut Special Education teaching license
• Experience working with IEPs and various student needs
• Preferably experienced in virtual teaching or online learning platforms
• Professional liability insurance
