CareerVillage is a web-based Q&A platform that makes it easy for professionals to bring personalized career information and advice to young people from low-income communities. Our goal is to help these young people achieve professional success by closing the career information and advice gap.
At CareerVillage, young people get answers to their personal career questions from professionals with… relevant experience. All of this valuable advice is indexed and publicly searchable for other young people.
Because answering questions on CareerVillage is fast and flexible, we can mobilize millions of professionals who are interested in being mentors but cannot commit to traditional mentorship relationships. CareerVillage can also be easily integrated by educators into schools and after-school programs, making it highly scalable.
