About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract. This fully remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work with healthcare data to drive insights, improve patient outcomes, and support operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare analytics, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, and IT departments, to gather data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Ensure data quality and integrity by performing data cleansing, validation, and troubleshooting.
Utilize statistical methods to interpret data and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Translate complex data findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
Stay current with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master s preferred).
8+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of healthcare data systems such as EHR/EMR platforms and claims data.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning techniques in healthcare.
Knowledge of value-based care metrics and healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
